DGO intends to provide distance internship to college and university students across India in order to mentor them to volunteer in various social service activities and to continue doing so even outside their campus too.
The distance internship is a combination of online internship experience guided by experienced resource persons, and supported by professional development programmes and peer connections. Student volunteers get an opportunity to utilise their time across a range of interesting projects.
We have already enrolled a few students from a reputed university to join our distance internship programme. It is quite encouraging to see such a response in a short time.
