Our Identity

DGO is a non-profit organisation. Our sole objective is to uplift the economically backward classes across India and bring them up on par with the well-off. We intend to do it by promoting a culture of doing good works. We will do it not as charity but as our responsibility to ensure that these classes of people are treated with due respect and care.

Our Strategy

DGO aims to play the role of a leveller by way of uplifting the economically backward classes across India,
enabling them to have access to their basic needs, bringing them up on par with the economically well-off and positioning them to play a decisive role in building an India of everyone. This exercise is to ensure what they truly deserve.

DGO aims to motivate every person to take up good works for the common good. We intend to develop tools like magazines, storybooks, booklets, books, videos, documentaries, movies and paintings, apart from holding discussions and debates to drive home the message that good works initiated by good people are essential to sustain the world we live in.

Our Revenue Model

Although DGO has its own products like publications and videos to raise funds, the main sources of funds are membership fees, donations, and funds from corporate enterprises. Other sources of funds include professional fees for talks, seminars, training sessions and consulting services; and financial support from public undertakings and private agencies. As innovation is the driving force of DGO, continuous efforts will be made to explore new ways to generate income to cover every area of life.

Our Team

We are a team of seven committed professionals, who have come together to uplift the people below poverty line across India and beyond. The team is led by Prof (Dr) Annie Pothen, former Head of English Department, PG College, Osmania University. There are social service experts, legal experts, financial experts and media professionals in the team.
